Off-Highway Vehicles
Off Highway Vehicles are permitted on the following high pass roads: Black Bear Pass, Imogene Pass and Ophir Pass.
OHVs must be registered, or out-of-state licensed, and operated by riders with a valid drivers license and insurance.
San Miguel County and the US Forest Service sponsor two Alpine Rangers, who patrol for education and enforcement.
